LARCC
Field Rules and Obligations |
|
Hours and days of operation:
Gliders and Electrics may fly 7 days a week, any time of day.
Powered aircraft may fly from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM 7 days a week.
General Rules:
- A frequency pin is required to turn on your R.C. radio transmitter.
- Absolutely no alcohol consumption at the field.
- All flying members must comply with the
Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)
rules at all times.
- No running of engines without restraints at all times in the pits.
- No flying over the pits or the spectators.
- No taxing in or out of the pits.
- No flying behind the flight line on our field.
- No flying permitted beyond the northern boundary of the field.
- No intentional powered flight beyond the east boundary of the field
allowed.
- The maximum sound level is 96db at 9 feet for all engines.
- All engines must have a muffler or mufflers.
- Please no litter on the field.
- Long engine runs are to be done in the designated area only.
- No unescorted visitors on the flight line.
- Parents are responsible for their children.
- Utmost care must be taken in preventing engine fuels from contaminating
the modeling grounds.
- Stunt kite flying shall be done behind the flight line.
- Motorized RC land vehicles permitted with permission only.
- It shall always be the full intention of all LARCC members to at all times
respect our neighbors and each member.
